After breakfast in Arusha, you and your fellow travelers will depart with your professional safari guide for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife‑rich reserves. The drive takes you through rolling countryside and traditional villages before entering the park, where vast landscapes are dotted with towering baobab trees and crossed by the Tarangire River.
On arrival, begin your game drive across diverse habitats. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen moving gracefully between the river and woodlands. You may also encounter prides of lions resting in the shade, giraffes browsing treetops, buffalo herds, and countless antelope species. The park is a birdwatcher’s paradise, with more than 500 species recorded, including colorful lilac‑breasted rollers and large flocks of hornbills.
A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park, allowing the group to relax and share impressions of the morning’s sightings. In the afternoon, continue exploring until late in the day, when the golden light of sunset creates perfect photographic opportunities.
By evening, exit the park and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, with time to unwind and enjoy the camaraderie of your group
Day 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, the group departs for the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro highlands with game viewing along the way. The drive itself is part of the adventure, offering sweeping views of volcanic landscapes, Maasai villages, and wildlife corridors that connect the parks.
By midday, you will arrive in the Central Serengeti, a region celebrated for its year‑round wildlife concentrations. After a picnic lunch, begin your first game drive across the endless plains. This area is renowned for large prides of lions, cheetahs hunting on the open savannah, and leopards resting in acacia trees. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebra moving across the grasslands.
As the sun begins to set, the group will head to your lodge or tented camp. Dinner will be served under the stars, with time to share stories and highlights from the day’s sightings
Day 4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (FULL DAY)
After an early breakfast, set out with your group for a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries. The day is dedicated to exploring the park’s diverse habitats, from sweeping grasslands to rocky kopjes and acacia woodlands.
The Serengeti is renowned for its predator populations, and today offers excellent chances to see lions on the hunt, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and leopards resting in the shade of trees. Large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam the savannah, while elephants and giraffes move gracefully through the woodlands. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full‑day game drive. The crater floor is a natural sanctuary, home to an extraordinary density of wildlife. Here you may encounter prides of lions, large herds of buffalo and wildebeest, elephants wandering through the grasslands, and hippos wallowing in pools.
