After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a scenic journey of about two hours. The park is renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds, often considered among the biggest in East Africa.

Enjoy a full-day game drive across diverse habitats, from open savannah to riverine woodlands. Tarangire is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 550 bird species. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, attracts wildlife in abundance, making for excellent sightings and photography. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park. In the afternoon, continue exploring different areas, with chances to spot rare species such as the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk.

Later, exit the park and drive to Karatu, a charming town near the Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, where you can relax and enjoy dinner before the next day’s adventure.
