Tarangire Simba Lodge

Welcome to Tarangire Simba Lodge, set near the Sangaiwe Gate of Tarangire National Park—one of the true gems of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Surrounded by wildlife-rich landscapes, the lodge offers uninterrupted views of the beautiful Lake Burunge, with the park on one side and a Wildlife Management Area on the other. Anchored by a majestic ancient baobab tree, the setting captures the essence of authentic Africa and provides a peaceful yet immersive safari experience.

Opened in July 2015, the lodge features 24 classic thatched tents designed for comfort while staying close to nature. Guests can expect to encounter a wide range of resident wildlife, including lion, zebra, bushbuck, impala, and more, with elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and ostriches often passing through the area. Beyond offering unforgettable stays, Tarangire Simba Lodge also plays an important role in conservation, working closely with local rangers to help protect wildlife and maintain a vital buffer zone between the national park and surrounding communities.
