Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will complete customs and immigration formalities. You will then begin your scenic transfer to Arusha, passing through the picturesque landscapes of northern Tanzania. The journey offers views of expansive coffee and banana plantations, small rural farms, and traditional villages that reflect local daily life. On clear days, you may also enjoy distant views of Mount Meru and, in some areas, glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro’s foothills.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds and its striking population of ancient baobab trees. It is best known for the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife habitats.

The crater was formed millions of years ago when a massive volcano collapsed, leaving a huge natural bowl about 600 meters deep. Today, it acts as a natural enclosure that supports a dense concentration of wildlife.
