This exciting safari takes you through the most iconic parks in Northern Tanzania: Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater.
During your 7-day Tanzania Safari, your accommodation will be a combination of comfortable lodges and tented camps. If you prefer different accommodations, we can tailor the itinerary to suit your preferences.
Your affordable 7-day Tanzania Safari begins with a transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha (51 km). Upon arrival, you will meet our Safari Manager for a detailed briefing on your adventure.
After breakfast the following day, meet your safari driver-guide and embark on your 6-day exploration of Tanzania’s northern parks.
This 7-day Tanzania Safari Package is a sample itinerary that can be booked as is. Like all our trips, it can also be customized to suit your budget and preferences. Additionally, the program can be extended to include 4 nights and 5 days on Zanzibar Beach. Feel free to contact us for further customization.
7 Days Safari Tanzania Package Price Range
Price Includes:
- All pickups and transfers as outlined in the itinerary.
- 7-day private safari in a 4WD Land Cruiser for 2–6 people.
- Game drives led by an experienced driver-guide fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish, or German.

Itinerary
Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
Upon clearing customs and immigration at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your Lion View Tours guide will meet you and drive you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free to relax and immerse yourself in the African atmosphere. Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to share insights about Tanzanian culture and the country’s national parks. You will also receive a safari briefing to prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Arusha National Park
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park. The park offers an incredible variety of fauna and flora. Begin your game drive spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and warthogs. Afterward, embark on a guided walking safari, where you can experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the African bush up close. Your experienced local ranger will explain the unique flora and fauna along the way. Lunch will be served at a picnic site before continuing your tour in the safari vehicle. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha.

Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park is known for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes, including Acacia woodlands, baobab trees, and vast swamp areas. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife during the dry season, making for exciting game viewing throughout the day. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Serengeti, explore the endless plains famous for the Great Migration and its dense population of predators. Take a late-afternoon game drive before heading to your camp for the night.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring its diverse landscapes and wildlife. Have a packed lunch at a picnic site or return to camp for a hot lunch. Spend the afternoon continuing your exploration of Serengeti before returning to camp.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater/Karatu
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with lunch packed from the camp. Spend the day on a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an incredible variety of animals including elephants, lions, and the rare black rhino. In the afternoon, return to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Return to Kilimanjaro Airport
Depending on your flight time, relax at the hotel or explore the village of Mto wa Mbu with a local guide. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
