After clearing customs and immigration at Kilimanjaro International Airport/JRO or Arusha Airport/ARK, you will be met by your Lion view Tours guide who will drive you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. The park stretches along the Tarangire River’s banks and is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is dominated by Acacia woodlands and massive Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps both attract wildlife, particularly during Tanzania’s dry season. The park is unquestionably known for having some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants. You’re in for an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Drive back to Karatu late at night.

Exit the Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate and continue to the lakeside city of Mwanza, located on the southern shores of Lake Victoria. Arrive in time for lunch or relaxation at your lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying views of the lake, taking a short walk, or simply unwinding after your journey.

This offers a unique cultural experience and insight into the livelihoods of the lakeside communities. Later, take a relaxing boat excursion on the lake. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, spot local birdlife, and take in the scenic views of the shoreline. Return to shore for lunch, followed by time at leisure. You may choose to relax at your lodge, take a nature walk, or enjoy the tranquil lakeside environment.

In the afternoon, you can explore the nearby city of Mwanza, known for its unique rock formations and vibrant local markets.

Travel by road through the scenic countryside toward Ndabaka Gate, re-entering the Serengeti through its western corridor. Enjoy a game drive en route, with opportunities to spot wildlife as you make your way across the plains. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for lunch at your camp or enjoy a picnic along the way. Continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring the rich wildlife areas of the park.

This region is known for its diverse landscapes and excellent chances of seeing animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of predators.

After breakfast depart for the airport. The drive takes about 4 hours; the driver can include a stopover for light lunch and some shopping though this will be optional. Aim to arrive at JRO with at least 2 3 hours before your international flight for check in and security.
