After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. The park stretches along the Tarangire River’s banks and is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is dominated by Acacia woodlands and massive Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps both attract wildlife, particularly during Tanzania’s dry season. The park is unquestionably known for having some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants. You’re in for an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Drive back to Karatu late at night.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for lunch along the way. The Serengeti National Park spans nearly 14,763 square kilometers and is famous for its dense predator population and annual migration of wildebeest. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word “Siringet,” which means “boundless plain” and refers to the former home of the Maasai tribe, who displaced the Datoga shepherds in the 17th century. Upon arrival, take a late game drive to the camp.

Thousands of wildebeest and zebra bravely battle strong currents and formidable Nile crocodiles as they attempt to cross the Mara River, journeying towards the Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya.  After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take lunch with you from the camp. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of 8,300 km2. UNESCO has designated the entire area as a World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The entire day is devoted to game drives in the crater. The crater also has a wide range of environments and can be visited by all large herbivores, with the Ngorongoro Crater covering an area of 260 km2 and extending about 20 km in diameter. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area gets its name from its central feature, the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and has evolved into an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of the world’s densest populations.
