6 DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI ITINERARY

During our 6 days Safari accommodation will combine nice Lodge and Tented Camp however, if you wish to stay at different accommodation, please let us know and will customize your itinerary package accordingly. As Safari program published should be as a sample program which can be booked as it is, but like our all our trip Packages can be customized to suit your budget and preferences.

After clearing customs and immigration at Kilimanjaro International Airport/JRO or Arusha Airport/ARK, you will be met by your Lion view Tours guide who will drive you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. Your personal and experienced Lion view tours guide not only knows a lot about Tanzanian culture, but he or she can also tell you a lot about the country’s national parks and sights. So, feel free to ask the Lion View Tours Guide any questions you have; this Guide will gladly answer all of them. Following that, you will receive a briefing on the safari. This day after breakfast, you will drive to Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. You will start a game drive with waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, Zebras and baboons a few meters from main gate. After, your local Safari ranger will take you on a walking Safari. A walking Safari gives you a whole new and unique perspective of the National Park its super exciting! The scent and sounds of Africa bush are experience by walking. You will be walking alongside Wild, freely roaming animals in their nature habitat. Your local Ranger is well experience and knows what you can or can’t to near wild animals, he/ she will tell you about the unique flora & fauna. Lunch will be served at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife,

Later, you will drive back to Arusha.

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. The park stretches along the Tarangire River’s banks and is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is dominated by Acacia woodlands and massive Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps both attract wildlife, particularly during Tanzania’s dry season. The park is unquestionably known for having some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants. You’re in for an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Drive back to Karatu late at night.

 After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take lunch with you from the camp. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of 8,300 km2. UNESCO has designated the entire area as a World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The entire day is devoted to game drives in the crater. The crater also has a wide range of environments and can be visited by all large herbivores, with the Ngorongoro Crater covering an area of 260 km2 and extending about 20 km in diameter. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area gets its name from its central feature, the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and has evolved into an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of the world’s densest populations.

Later drive back to Karatu. Dinner and overnight stay

After breakfast, Explore Mto wa Mbu which is famous for, banana plantations, rice paddies, local paddies and artisans. Learn about daily life, farming techniques, and mix of tribes. Enjoying the walking, your guide is very likely to be from the village itself so you will have a unique opportunity to see the community through his eyes. Tours last around 2–3 hours, but are flexible. During your visit you’ll get a good feel for the social side of the village – the farms and the milling machines, the schools, markets and churches. Your guide will happily answer any questions you might have, and will help you to gain an understanding of the inner workings of this typical Tanzanian community.
