Begin your unforgettable 4-day safari adventure, meticulously designed to immerse you in the breathtaking wilderness and diverse ecosystems of Tanzania’s most iconic national parks. During our 4-day safari, accommodation will combine a nice Lodge and a tented camp; however, if you wish to stay at a different accommodation, please let us know, and we will customize your itinerary package accordingly. The Safari program published should be a sample program that can be booked as it is, but like all our trip packages, it can be customized to suit your budget and preferences.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will complete customs and immigration procedures. After clearing, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from Lion View Tours. He will assist you with your luggage and give you a short introduction to your safari. You will then start your scenic drive to Karatu, passing through beautiful landscapes, local villages, and the highlands of northern Tanzania. Along the way, you may enjoy short stops for photos and rest breaks.

On arrival in Karatu, you will check in at your lodge and take time to relax after your journey. Enjoy the peaceful environment, gardens, and fresh air of the Ngorongoro highlands. Your guide will later give you a short safari briefing, explaining your itinerary, park visits, and important travel information for the coming days. You will also have time to ask any questions.

After savoring a delicious breakfast, you will prepare your picnic lunches as you embark on a visit to one of Africa’s seven natural wonders—the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast at the lodge in Karatu, you will depart with your professional safari guide for a full-day experience. You will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. On arrival, you will start a game drive across different habitats including forest, grassland, and the lake shoreline. During the safari, you may see elephants, giraffes, baboons, buffalo, hippos, and many bird species. The park is also famous for tree-climbing lions, which can sometimes be seen resting on acacia branches.

In the afternoon, you will continue with game viewing before exiting the park and heading to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour. In Mto wa Mbu, you will experience local Tanzanian life. Activities may include a village walk, visiting banana and rice farms, exploring local markets, and interacting with different tribes living in the area. You will also learn about traditional food and culture. After the cultural experience, you will return to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
