The safari offers a rare immersive experience with one of Africa’s last remaining hunters where they gather communities at lake Eyasi in the Great Rift Valley of northern Tanzania. where this cultural activity serves as a unique extension to the classic Northern circuit safari, involving wildlife viewing. At this point you will also visit famous world class wildlife in Tarangire national park which is famous for (elephant herds, baobab trees) Lake Manyara (tree climbing lions, and flamingos) Ngorongoro crater (Eighth wonder) and Serengeti (great migration). This circuit blends the iconic savanna safaris with immersive time where the Hadzabe (black hunters) Datoga (pastoralist, blacksmith).

After clearing customs and immigration at Kilimanjaro International Airport/JRO or Arusha Airport/ARK, you will be met by your Lion view Tours guide who will drive you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. After breakfast, pick up your lunch boxes and depart for Lake Manyara National Park. It covers an area of 333 km2, of which 230 km2 is covered by the lake, which rises and falls depending on the season. The park’s diverse flora and fauna attract a wide range of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of Baboons, Manyara’s famous tree climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the algae in the lake. After lunch and an extensive game drive, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for lunch along the way. The Serengeti National Park spans nearly 14,763 square kilometers and is famous for its dense predator population and annual migration of wildebeest. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word “Siringet,” which means “boundless plain” and refers to the former home of the Maasai tribe, who displaced the Datoga shepherds in the 17th century. Upon arrival, take a late game drive to the camp.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, take lunch with you from the camp. Ngorongoro conservation area covers an area of 8,300 km2. UNESCO has designated the entire area as a World Heritage Site. Descend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The entire day is devoted to game drives in the crater. The crater also has a wide range of environments and can be visited by all large herbivores, with the Ngorongoro Crater covering an area of 260 km2 and extending about 20 km in diameter. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area gets its name from its central feature, the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and has evolved into an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of the world’s densest populations.

Later drive back to Karatu. Dinner and overnight stay

After early breakfast at your Lodge, you will drive to meet the Hadzabe (Bushmen) the last true hunter-gatherers of East Africa. You will experience how they hunt game and collect fruit, roots and honey. You then visit the Datoga, who are involved in cattle breeding and blacksmithing. You will gain an insight into the traditional life of these people depend on each other.

After all activities all most take 3 hours then you will have Lunch on the way to Karatu

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. The park stretches along the Tarangire River’s banks and is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is dominated by Acacia woodlands and massive Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps both attract wildlife, particularly during Tanzania’s dry season. The park is unquestionably known for having some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants. You’re in for an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Drive back to Karatu late at night.
