DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive. The park stretches along the Tarangire River’s banks and is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is dominated by Acacia woodlands and massive Baobab trees, with vast swamp areas in the south. The river and the swamps both attract wildlife, particularly during Tanzania’s dry season. The park is unquestionably known for having some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants. You’re in for an exciting morning and afternoon game drive. Drive back to Karatu late at night.

DAY 3 – NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast at your lodge, depart with your group for a full‑day safari in the world‑famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor, where fertile plains and forests support one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa. Here you may encounter prides of lions, large herds of buffalo and wildebeest, zebras grazing across the grasslands, and elephants wandering through the forests. The crater is also one of the few places where you have a rare chance to spot the endangered black rhino.
A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic site inside the crater, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife activity. In the afternoon, continue exploring different habitats before ascending the rim and returning to Karatu.
